Where to find coupons:

Coupons are a great way to save money and once you get skilled at finding them and organizing them, you can really start to impact your budget and cut your costs for groceries, beauty products and even clothing

A great source of coupons is direct from manufacturers. Check their website and contact them to give them feedback on a product that you use. In many cases, to reward you, (or if you are dissatisfied with a product to placate you), they generally offer great value coupons which are often better than you can find in newspapers, grocery stores etc. Signing up for a manufacturer’s newsletter also works as a valuable source. You will often find “invitation only” offers, coupons, special promotions and free products. You’ll find a broad range of offers from a manufacturer as they wish to showcase all their products. Sign-up to their newsletter, agree to be contacted with future offers; you will receive discounts and special promotions through email or through the post.
Coupon inserts are frequently found in magazines. Most feature the coupons as inserts (you might mistake it for junk so watch out) and some; though not as many, will have coupons featured in the actual pages.
Customer Loyalty cards allow a store to see your purchasing patterns. If you usually purchase an item at that store and stop, you will likely receive coupons for that product and /or related products in the mail as they try to bring your business back. Further, if you do not shop frequently at the store for which you have signed up for a card, you may also receive coupons and incentives in the mail to get you in their store.

Once you are aware of where to find coupons, you will start to see them all around you. Check the inside of a cereal box or a yoghurt pack, check the labels on canned goods. Skim through the junk mail and check the product packaging before you throw them out. When you buy a product, be aware of the labels or any booklets with recipe ideas or coupons attached to them. Keep your eyes open in the grocery store for printed in store coupons that you can use at check out.

Happy hunting, clipping and saving!
